Q: What services do you offer?
As you can probably tell from our name, we make websites, but we also offer other design and development services.
Q: How much does a website cost?
A: This is a question we get asked all the time, so we thought we would try and answer it here… Sadly, there’s no specific answer - it really just depends on the particular requirements of the site. That’s why we price up each project individually and tailor the quote to your specific needs. If you’re looking for an e-commerce site withi integrated payment processing and order and stock mangement, it’s going to cost you a lot more than a standard brochure website.
As a guideline, our sites typically start at around £3000 + VAT and go up to £30k +.

Q: What Content Management System (CMS) do you use?
We use a custom build of Drupal for all our websites, due it’s flexibility, scalability and ease of content management. Having a CMS power your website will allow you to edit the content of your websites (for example: pages, products, portfolio items) and we can build it out to meet specific requirements such as e-commerce order fulfillment and stock management. Q: Do you offer SEO services? Will my website appear on Google?
We don’t offer a seperate SEO service, it is inherent in our website design standards. Our websites are Search Engine-friendly and all the sites we host appear in Google rankings. We can give you advice on how to improve your service on Google as part of our consultation and ‘tune’ you website content appropriately.
Q: Can you host our new website once it’s finished?
Our websites are hosted in a central London data centre (managed by the brilliant Rackspace UK), with a backup data centre elsewhere in the UK. We maintain our servers and administer the operating environment of our websites. Backups are taken overnight by our hosting provider, but we also run our own backups intra-day on to a separate machine, which is then replicated to Amazon S3. All this communication is done over a secure encrypted connection.
Q: Can you set up the new website to run on our own servers when it’s finished?
Our websites require a server with a standard LAMP stack installed. We can provide a quote for setting up a website on a machine that meets these pre-requisites if required.
