Are you wanting to use Barclays ePDQ as a payment gateway on your Shopify store?

Shopify say that the older Barclaycard ePDQ "MPI" method is supported but BarclayCard have contacted me directly to say that MPI no longer exists, so this is not an option.

As yet there's no confirmed date for wider Barclaycard payment gateway integration but it sounds like both parties are working towards it.

So if you have a Barclaycard business account you may not be able to integrate it directly with Shopify using their payment gateway. However, you can still use your Barclaycard merchant account with Shopify, but you'll need to connect it via an alternative payment gateway like Stripe, SagePay or Paypal. This will process the payment from your Shopify store and will connect with your Barclaycard merchant account in the background.
