The Challenge

As part of the move to Shopify, Alessi planned to relaunch their website with a fresh new look, tied with their strong legacy. This called for a full website overhaul - both from a UX and visual design perspective.

The Solution

Leaning on Alessi’s stunning imagery and videography, we designed a beautiful new Shopify Plus store that perfectly captures the modern minimalist essence of their brand.

The new store is built as a bespoke Shopify theme, using Shopify Markets to provide a globally exceptional experience with opportunities to expand into new markets. On the backend, we integrated the website into Alessi’s custom AS400 back office and seamlessly migrated customer, order, and product data from Magento 1 to Shopify Plus.

The Results

The launch of the new Alessi site is a significant step forward, providing a rock-solid platform for future growth as well as reflecting their impressive heritage. More crucially, though, the new site has had an extremely positive impact on their e-commerce metrics.
