Db Journey boasts award winning travel-gear that has garnered global attention – not just from their usual crowd of skiers, snowboarders, photographers and surfers but everyday folk. With this surge of international traffic, the brand decided it was time to replatform. Enter Shopify Plus.
With their platform contract coming to renewal, Db Journey decided now was the best time to replatform from their bespoke build. They needed a platform that could withstand high traffic and cater to their international presence with themes that supported their large, high-quality brand images. And the platform to tick all those boxes was Shopify Plus.

Recognizing a surge of interest in bulk ordering, we helped Db Journey open their new Shopify Plus store to B2B ordering with SparkLayer. As well as setting up 5 regional stores for their B2C offering, we replicated the stores for B2B.
User Testing played a large part in the design process of this project. As Db Journey already had a loyal customer group of around 120 users, we were able to get their customers involved in the process and implement their feedback into the final design.
