The Challenge
Norwood needed to simplify their e-commerce solution;, their existing Magento build was too complex for their teams to manage and they had little control over how it was set up. They decided to migrate to Shopify at the same time as overhauling their brand. They brought us in to redesign their e-commerce store and migrate them from Magento to Shopify.
The project aims were two fold - improve the back end for the Norwood team, and create a front-end that would give customers a premium experience.

The Solution
We replatformed Norwood from Magento to Shopify Plus, completely overhauling their customer experience to incorporate a revamped tech stack and features that would elevate their new site and allow them to hit the ground running. For their international presence, we set them up on Shopify Markets, allowing them to manage all of their international stores from one place and a translation app that translates all of their content for different regions – something they lacked on Magento.
Norwood wanted to give their customers a premium experience that would provide customers all the product information they need in a digestible way and help make high-value purchasing decisions easier. We used Sections Everywhere to create a flexible system of reusable components and content sections to showcase the in-depth features of their sawmills,, including hot-spot sections that highlight product information without overwhelming the user.
