Third Man Records is an independent record label founded by Jack White in Detroit, Michigan, in 2001. The label is known for its unique approach to music production and distribution and has gained a reputation for producing live shows that push the boundaries of traditional music performance.

With their Magento 2 license up for renewal, Third Man Records decided it was the perfect time to migrate to a more scalable platform. We were brought in to replatform the brand to Shopify Plus and enable international selling for this globally-renowned brand.

Third Man Records were coming to a crossroads, their Magento 2 license was approaching renewal, and they decided it was time to migrate. They needed a new platform that would grow with the brand and one that was aligned for internationalization – they chose Shopify Plus.

With a huge product catalog, streamlining the user journey was paramount. We made sure the new store was a breeze to navigate and encouraged browsers to explore for longer. We also built an exclusive members’ access area – the Vault – powered by a custom subscription payments solution, all running on Shopify Plus.
